After a loooong search for a classic chocolate stollen with powdered sugar, I found the Hentschel bakery on the Striezelmarkt three years ago. And what can I say .... super delicious, I'm happy !!!!

I've been ordering my stollen in Dresden for 10 years but that was by far the worst stollen I've ever had. So dry with no taste. Paid 68 euros for 2 studs and the quality is so bad. Otherwise I like to eat 2 slices here is already 1 slice too much because it is so dry. Schade always loved original Dresdner Stollen. Don't just write it here, I also told the baker by phone

The best Christmas stollen is baked here for my family and me. I have been ordering in the online shop for years and am always amazed by the quality, freshness and taste. Ordered Wednesday evening, paid Thursday, today (Monday morning) the goods were with us in the “far north”. It was the first time I ordered a poppy seed roll. We tried it right away this afternoon, tasty and juicy. I have never eaten such a good poppy seed roll anywhere. I will definitely order again before the festival. Thursday, November 5th, 2020, called around lunchtime about apple bread. Only a half left. Could you maybe bake some more, I asked carefully? Yes, that would be possible. When I would be there 4 p.m. around, drive 150 km. 3 p.m. I was there. The apple breads ready. Took another one with me. Insane service! Just lovely. Three loaves of bread are also packed. Very nice friendly service! On the way home I have to go back a long way Fantastic!

Since I have big childhood memories of this egg piebald, I'm probably not objective. The shop has not changed over the years, it doesn't have to, because the cake is simply delicious.
